I think there is more KE in the world because people are moving around all the time, so it creates KE. There is also alot of GPE in the world. When something is above the ground or is hanging, it has the potential to fall. Here are some examples for KE. An example for KE is a car going down the street. That energy becomes potential energy when it is going uphill. When it starts going down hill, the faster it goes, the more KE it gets. Other example for KE is a person walking down the street. If that person gets the sudden urge to go to the amusment park and gets on a rollercoaster, that energy turns into GPE when the rollercoaster is also going uphill. These are some reasons why there are both KE and GPE in the world.
